Network design
Requirements, topology and capacity planning before equipment is ordered or moved.
Networks & connectivity
A properly designed network supports day-to-day operations, cloud services, communications, CCTV, Wi-Fi and connected devices. NovaStak Ltd designs, installs and manages that infrastructure, as a defined project, or as ongoing network management.

Design, installation and configuration
Offices, warehouses and multi-site environments need more than a box on the wall. We plan LAN infrastructure, switching, routing, VLAN configuration, firewall configuration and network segmentation so traffic, access and resilience make sense for the small and medium business, not a generic template.
Requirements, topology and capacity planning before equipment is ordered or moved.
Network equipment installation, switch and router configuration, and documented handover.
Office LAN infrastructure, switching, routing and VLAN design for orderly traffic and access.
Firewall configuration, segmentation and wireless security as part of the wider cybersecurity picture.
Network refreshes, cabinet work and expansion when the current setup has grown by accident.
Connectivity planned for small and medium businesses that operate across more than one location.
Ongoing services
Installing switches and access points is one engagement. Keeping that infrastructure healthy is another. Where commercially provided, NovaStak can look after the network as an ongoing service, separate from a one-off installation project.
The firewall is kept with the rest of the network. Health and performance monitoring so faults are spotted before they become a week of disruption.
Change control for configuration, firmware and lifecycle work rather than ad-hoc tweaks.
Network troubleshooting, performance optimisation and wireless infrastructure management.
Headroom for extra users, sites, CCTV and cloud traffic, planned, not guessed after a slow morning.
Managed networks sit naturally alongside managed IT services when the small and medium business wants one partner for support and infrastructure.
Managed wireless networks
Wireless Network Design & Deployment for offices and sites that need coverage staff can actually use: access point placement, secure wireless networks, guest Wi-Fi, roaming between access points and wireless optimisation. This is not a consumer router on a shelf.
We do not quote coverage percentages or speed guarantees on this page. The right design depends on the building, the density of users and what the wireless network has to carry.
Access point placement and coverage planning for offices, meeting rooms and working floors.
Staff and guest networks separated, with segmentation so visitors are not on the same path as business systems.
Wireless performance reviewed so devices can move through the site without dropping at every doorway.
Structured network cabling
Structured cabling is the physical foundation: Ethernet cabling, network outlets, patch panels, cabinet and rack installation, cable management and infrastructure expansion. Office network installations are planned so the next desk, camera or access point has somewhere to land.
This is data and network cabling, not electrical installation. Mains power, lighting circuits and certified electrical contracting are outside the scope of this service.
Ethernet and data cabling for offices, with outlets and runs planned as a system.
Network cabinet and rack installation, patch panels and tidy cable management.
Additional drops and cabinet work when the floor plan changes. Larger moves can sit under IT projects.
Networks rarely sit on their own. Cloud access and day-to-day support depend on the same infrastructure.
Office moves, network refreshes and deployments with a defined start and finish.
Residential Wi-Fi, home networking and related installation work.
Both. We deliver design and installation projects, and can provide ongoing managed network services including monitoring, configuration management, troubleshooting and lifecycle work.
No. We provide structured data cabling: Ethernet, outlets, patch panels, cabinets and cable management. Electrical contracting is a separate trade.
Yes. Network projects and managed network services can sit independently or alongside an internal IT function or another technology partner.
Yes. We work with small and medium businesses across the UK. NovaStak is based in Northamptonshire, and we visit when the installation needs someone on site. See IT support in Northamptonshire.
