If this is familiar
Problems managed IT solves
Support should not mean waiting and hoping. The point of an outsourced IT department is that issues get closed, and the cause gets fixed.
Staff have become the IT department
A director or office manager spends half the week chasing printers and forgotten passwords.
The same faults keep returning
Wi-Fi, logins and email fail again because nobody owns the underlying cause.
You only hear from IT when something is already broken
Updates, disk space and backups sit in the background until they become an emergency.
A new starter takes days to get working
Laptop, mailbox and access are assembled by whoever has time. Leavers still have company mail on a phone.
Nobody can explain how the environment is set up
Admin passwords, sharing and “the person who knows” live in someone’s head.
Growth is outpacing the current setup
More people, another site, or a new system, and the current infrastructure cannot keep up.
Scope
What is included
The exact mix is agreed after we see how you work. For most clients the outsourced IT function covers:
Reliable support
A clear way for staff to ask for help, and issues that get closed.
Predictable IT management
Routine upkeep, not a scramble when something fails.
Fewer recurring problems
We fix the cause, not only the symptom.
Patch management
Updates for Windows, Microsoft 365 and the software people rely on, before they pile up.
Antivirus and endpoint security
Company laptops protected, updated, and easier to lock if one is lost.
Firewall and network monitoring
The office network watched so faults are caught before they stop people working.
On-site and remote support
Day-to-day help from a screen, and a visit when the job needs someone there.
Onboarding and offboarding
A new starter who can work, and a leaver whose access actually stops.
Microsoft 365 administration, security, documentation, and business continuity through backups that can actually be restored.
We are not a software studio. We look after the systems you already run. Detail on Microsoft 365, cybersecurity and backup lives on those pages.
Inside managed IT
What the day-to-day cover includes
Managed IT is more than a helpdesk. The same service looks after updates, devices and the network, and it is there when a person is stuck.
Patch management
Outdated software, stale accounts and known faults are dealt with as part of looking after the environment, rather than left until something breaks. That includes Windows, Microsoft 365 and the applications people rely on.
Antivirus and endpoint security
Company laptops and desktops are protected, not left on whatever came out of the box. Antivirus, updates and the ability to lock a lost machine sit with the rest of the security work.
Firewall and network monitoring
The firewall is configured and looked after with the rest of the office network. Monitoring picks up faults, slow links and devices that need attention before they become an outage.
On-site and remote support
Most day-to-day help is remote: email, logins, access and the issues that stop someone working. We come on site when the job needs someone there, such as a failed switch, a new office or equipment that cannot be fixed from a screen.
Detail on cybersecurity and networks and connectivity is on those pages. Hours of cover are agreed when we take you on.
Day to day
How support works
Staff get a clear route to ask for help. You speak to people who know the environment, not a new technician every time. Most requests are handled remotely. We come on site when on-site work is the faster path.
How quickly we respond, and when we are available, is part of the conversation when we take you on, not a slogan on a website. We do not list guaranteed times here until they are written into an agreement.
Email, files and laptops
Microsoft 365 and device management
For most growing companies, Microsoft 365 is the office. Managed IT includes the administration around it: licences, shared mailboxes, sharing, and leavers who still have company email on a phone.
Device management means a new laptop can be set up in a known way, and a lost or returned machine does not keep company files. We use Entra ID for sign-in and Intune where company devices need policy. We work with these Microsoft products; this page does not claim official Microsoft partner status.
Practical protection
Security
For most small and medium businesses, trouble usually starts with email, a reused password or an unpatched laptop. Managed IT includes those controls: who can sign in, how mail is protected, and whether you could recover if something got through.
That sits with cybersecurity and Backup & Business Continuity, with backups that are checked, not an untested drive. We do not list certifications here until they can be shown as fact.
Getting started
How onboarding works
You do not need a long tender. We learn how the business works, then take on the IT in a planned way so email and devices keep running.
Discovery
How you work today, who gets stuck, and what good would look like.
IT assessment
Microsoft 365, devices, backups, network and the risks that matter.
Onboarding and documentation
Accounts, access and how to get help, written down rather than left in someone’s head.
Ongoing management and support
Day-to-day help, plus the routine work that stops the same faults returning.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Who is managed IT support for?
Owners, directors and operations managers who need an outsourced IT function instead of a full-time internal team, from small businesses to multi-user and multi-site environments.
Do you offer 24/7 or unlimited support?
This page does not promise 24/7 cover, unlimited tickets or guaranteed response times. Support hours and how to get help are agreed when we take you on, based on how the business actually works.
Can you take over from our current IT company?
Yes. We start with discovery and an IT assessment, then onboard so email, devices and access keep working while support moves across.
Can you work alongside someone we already have?
Yes. Some clients want a full outsourced function. Others already have a capable person on site and need extra engineering cover rather than a replacement.
Is this only for Northamptonshire?
No. We work with small and medium businesses across the UK. We are based in Northamptonshire. Most day-to-day support is remote. We visit when the job needs hands on equipment. See IT support in Northamptonshire.
What happens in the free consultation?
